Brain Weevil ability rules?

So I'm making a demon/sacrifice deck and I ran into something about Brain Weevil and Westvale Abbey  ^Flip. A lot of the cards that I see usually have you pay/tap the creature to sacrifice it. This one just says "Sacrifice Brain Weevil", making me think that Westvale Abbey could trigger Brain Weevil's ability. Am I wrong or right?

Activating Brain Weevil's ability will sacrifice it so it won't be around to sacrifice to Westvale Abbey  ^Flip. If you sacrifice it to Westvale Abbey  ^Flip it won't be around to sacrifice to it's own ability.

You never trigger Brain Weevil. It has an activated ability which requires paying a cost (denoted by the use of a colon). A triggered ability starts with At, When, or Whenever. If it were a triggered ability, such as the one Black Cat has, it would indeed trigger when it died being sacrificed for another ability.
