Battalion trigger and attackers
Asked by PremiumCola 11 years ago
Bit of setting:Playing two headed giant EDH. My opponent has Crawlspace , but I have Militia's Pride .
What happened: I attack with; Firemane Avenger and a Gisela, Blade of Goldnight . I then pay w for to use Militia's Pride ability.
The problem:Can I legally attack with 3 creatures because of Crawlspace and if I can, will battalion trigger from [Firemane Avenger]]?
and no to the battalion as it looks when creatures are declared....

So let's say for example: one of my creatures has exalted and I attack with one creature, and Then use Militia's Pride . The creature i declared as an attacker will still have the exalted buff although I'm attacking with 2 creatures.

Yes, exalted only cares that a single attacker was declared, not what the final number of attackers is. For instance, Geist of Saint Traft will still get exalted triggers.

I would say yes because crawlspace says no more than 2 creatures can attack you. what attack means is being declared as an attacker and since the thing brought by kaalia isn't being declared as attacker but is already attacking instead.
