Are the backsides of MDFC or Transform cards able to be named via Pithing Needle

Could someone play Pithing Needle naming Reflection of Kiki-Jiki Flip because as I understand the rules, the backside of card exists only on the stack or battle field, and thus isn't a card that can be named.
You really don't need to ping us, we check new questions pretty regularly.
With that said, you can name any side of a double-faced card. A lot of things (like this) would be kind of broken otherwise. As you mention, it usually uses the characteristics of only one face, generally the front, but the back face does count as a card name even if you can't search for it.
See rule 712:
712.15. If an effect instructs a player to choose a card name, the player may name either face of a double-faced card but not both.

That's a good question! Pinging Gidgetimer or Polaris for this one. My guess is that Pithing Needle could stop it, but I am not sure whether you would have to name the front side or the back. I'm thinking you could just name the back because that would prevent you from putting it on the stack. In general, I could name a card with needle that isn't in anyone's deck, in which case it'd just do nothing. My thought would be that you could just name the back side, but I would defer to the experts on this one!
