The commander repercussions will be felt, as Wizards has announced their very first G/B legendary frog horror!

ALL HAIL THE GITROG!
Finished building a combo EDH deck. Surprisingly consistent with a very large amount of tutors. Basically, you want a discard outlet, a dredger, and the hynotoad. As long as you hit a land when you dredge back one of your creature dredgers, you keep milling your library 4, 5, 6 cards at a time until you hit dakmor salvage, which mills the rest. Once here you sacrifice three creatures to dread return on necrotic ooze and win. The best part is you don't care about drawing combo pieces. You also have a grindy value plan of crucible and sacrifice lands like strip mine or wasteland. Currently the general is cromat, since the hypnotoad isn't in the system yet. Toadally Oozing with Dread.

I found my new commander. Frog tribal sounds fun but land value engine.dec sounds more interesting.

Yeah, then you can run those savage elf brother/sister (card name escapes me) and play more lands each turn, along with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Scapeshift. Scapeshift!!! MUST RUN Scapeshift!

The_Dragonmaster, you know you can't run Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle in a The Gitrog Monster edh. Correct?

I'm wondering if there's room in Dredge for this guy...you can seriously draw your entire library in one turn with enough Golgari Grave-Trolls and Stinkweed Imps.

I hope this card sees non-EDH play, but I don't think it's good enough for legacy dredge. It wins you the game once it comes out and you get to put lands in your graveyard, but doesn't griselbrand or Sphinx of lost truths just do the same thing without needing lands. It goes infinite with dakmor salvage though, so I wouldn't be opposed to a new dredge build with more lands and then 4 dakmor salvage as a way to mill your deck without having to play 0 lands.
