Forced Fruition Opponent Gain Control

Modern Deck Help forum

here's my question:

Is there any way to have your opponents gain control of one of your cards? I want to build a combo deck w/ rituals and phyrexian mana effects and have your opponent gain control of Forced Fruition letting u storm off/ lab maniac for the win.

Bazaar Trader comes to mind at first. There are other effects, but they're Legacy and not Modern, e.g. Donate.

Oh wait, that doesn't hit enchantments. Shit. Um...

There is Shifting Loyalties and Daring Thief, but those are reliant on your opponent having an enchantment. Bazaar Trader doesn't do it b/c it doesn't name Enchantments. Too bad Donate doesn't exist.

Puca's Mischief is modern legal, and making your opponent gain control of other things might become beneficial as well, for example a mostly used Demonic Pact such that the opponent is only able to choose the last option remaining.

I recommend playing something like Leyline of Anticipation. That way, you can play Puca's Mischief early on, and then "flash in" Forced Fruition on your opponent's end-step so that they're not going to get one really stupid turn where they get to draw a bunch of cards. Then you get to immediately untap, give it to them, and have all your mana available for the GG victory.

Puca's Mischief is close to what you're looking for.
