Do you keep cards in limited?

I'm soon going to my first limited tournament, where you create a deck from 6 boosters. Is it normal to keep these cards afterwards or are you handling them in again after the tournament is over?
6 Boosters? Well that's rather generous, no? And yeah, you keep what you draft.

@TheDevicer: Sealed tournaments are 6 boosters afaik

TheDevicer also, it's not always keep what you draft. Some places rochester rares after the tournament instead of give packs. Meaning every rare drafted goes into a pool and players pick one from first to last till all are gone. But you keep the commons/uncommons of what you draft.
Also sealed can be 4 packs instead of 6. But yes, more than 3 is usually sealed. And this is always keep what you pull.
And for the OP, if you like multiple things in your pool, you can build more than one deck if you so like and alternately play them.

Depending upon the rules of the event, I believe at competitive REL you have to start each match with the same 40 (or more) card deck.
When we draft at the local shop we re-draft the rares and add the boosters from prize support to this redraft. This means after the money-rares have gone people are still able to pick up something if they came further down the standings.

The only info I have received is that we are playing with a handed out sealed pool. The tournament should be in a relaxed atmosphere, were the need for judges comes from that the tournament is open for all, and therefore inexperienced players, like me, are participating. I somehow don't believe this tournament would be as strict as other, meaning small mistakes can be corrected without harm. That is the impression I get. It is my first time to try out magic in a bigger scale, so I'm looking forward to it.
Any tips for limited, that is maybe simple, but you aren't thinking about, when you are creating a deck? Like, how in general people are crafting theirs, so I can be prepared as much as possible?
As well, thanks for the response so far!

- always, always, ALWAYS put removal spells
- use at least 17 lands (not just 16)
- relax, have fun!

Having fun is first and foremost, like cr14mson said. If you're doing a Theros sealed, you might want to consider running 18 lands, as there are plenty of cards you might want to sink some mana into. And if you're new to limited consider the BREAD strategy of limited: Bombs (stuff like Nemesis of Mortals
), Removal (Doom Blade
, Lightning Strike
, yadayada), Evasion (Vaporkin
and Nimbus Naiad
aren't picked first in drafts for nothing), Attackers (stuff like Ill-Tempered Cyclops
), and Defenders/Duds (Wall of Frost
and/or Charging Badger
).
Oh, and remember to have fun!

I would also suggest try to pick two colors. My experience with Theros sealed, it is much harder to play three colors, as I have dumbly attempted at each prerelease so far (ending up around the middle of the standings each time). Others who imitated me initially immediately did better for cutting a color later on, even if some of the card options they had were less good.

you keep them afterwards. also, the cards you don't put in your deck become your sideboard. 2-to-3 color decks are fine. good luck!
