If my opponent has 7 cards in their hand, and I use jaces archivist to discard their hand, would I gain 21 life? It seems too good to be true

Yes. Each card discarded will trigger Sangromancer 's ability, and if each trigger resolves you will gain 21 life total.

Indeed. I'm wondering why that seems too good to be true though... We're talking about 2 rares here with a little synergy.

Does Sanguine Bond + Blood Tribute kicked = CERTAIN DEATH seem too good to be true?

(Of course, there is a way round it, just instantly gain life in response to theSanguine Bond 's triggered ability)
