protection question - possible edh combo

will my creatures still take damage from Blasphemous Act if I have Akroma's Memorial in play?
the reason for my question is the following combo:
Akroma's Memorial + Repercussion + Blasphemous Act
granted its a suicide if my creatures don't get the protection, but its a slaughter if they do.
trying to use the combo for EDH

no, the Blasphemous Act would do no damage to your creatures, just like your creatures could no be blocked by or block black or red creatures

no i mean to opponent's creatures. Lets say each opponent has roughly 3 creatures out in an EDH pod of 4 players. Blasphemous Act costs essentially 1 red to cast, but my guys dont take any damage, whereas everybody else takes 13 to the face x 3 because of Blasphemous Act + Repercussion ?

oh yeah then it will, just keep in mind that damage dealt is whatever the creature's toughness is. So if there are 3 2/3 creatures your opponent controls then it would only deal 9 damage to your opponent

i believe that is only true when something has trample. Boros Reckoner still takes 13 damage from Blasphemous Act even though it only has a toughness of 3...

no, trample only comes into play during combat. If a 5/5 with trample is blocked by a 2/2 then only 3 damage goes through. And you are correct about Boros Reckoner but that's because Reckoner has a special ability

HarbingerJK: This isn't pokemon. Creatures don't have special abilities. A creature can be dealt more damage than it's toughness. The only difference between Boros Reckoner and OP's combo is that Reckoner has it built in and can target, whereas the combo just hits the player that controls the creature.

So if each opponent has 3 creatures ( 2/2 we will say ) and he casts Blasphemous Act with Repercussion out, each opponent will be taking 39 damage

@HarbingerJK: Blasphemous Act says it deals 13 damage to each creature. It does exactly that. If there's a 3/3 on the field, it will be dealt 13 damage, even though 3 damage would be lethal.

okay sorry, I'm wrong, no need for everyone to crucify me, then there your combo works.and @UmbrotheUmbreon I'd say that's a special ability if no other creatures have that

This should be posted in the Q&A section, but to answer your question no, protection from red given by Akroma's Memorial means Blasphemous Act never touches your creatures.
