Jund: Best Colors in RtR Limited?

At my prerelease last night, both me and my friend went up against Rakdos decks and we both lost, and I can see why. Unleash lets you one-up your opponents in creature size. Going Jund also gives you access to Flying removal, Giant Growth , and lets you use green Scavenge cards for further boosting. It seems like Jund has all the best cards to play with in a Limited environment, lots of damage and big creatures.

Admittedly, I have not seen Selesnya in Limited, my friend played Izzet and lost, and my opinion of Detain is rather low because out of an Azorious box I only got three cards with Detain excluding my promo.

Anyone else have a similar experience or a differing opinion?

I played Bant and had a strong deck considering what I had to work with. Selesnya is extremely strong in limited; the guild promo is ridiculously OP in a format with scarce removal and in a guild that works with tokens. Making 3/3s or 8/8s by casting fog+populate, exile+populate, or any other populate spell gives you some nasty board advantage. Splashing blue and going Bant gives you access to detain, which helps stop some of the heavy hitters in other colors. Even without much fixing, I successfully built Bant and lost only to Jund (I should have tied, but I misplayed in game one of that match). The deck wen 3-1 overall because of it.

How does G/W/b do in limited? I didn't get a chance to go to the pre-release. (Watching Jeff Dunham [first world problem])

I see it as populate with access to removal and Viskara.

GWB has some potential because fatties and scavenge will play well, but it never seemed to be a popular choice. Of the 20-30 people at my prerelease, I didn't see anyone attempt GWB. Jund and Bant are naturally better given the synergy among the colors and cards. Izzet seemed to be a major letdown in the prerelease, although Mizzium Mortars and Cyclonic Rift are absurd in limited.

What do you think standard will look like? Obviously I like GWB and I know you are not as into standard as some. I'm thinking america delver, jund zombies, and gwb tokens.

Azorius was a huge, huge let down at the pre-release. Getting only 7 detain cards and junk in my actual packs sucked.

American delver is shaping up to be a T1 deck, although I don't know how powerful it will actually be.

BR/BG/Jund Zombie decks are strong contenders with a lot of support.

UW/UB/Esper control will be present.

According to one of my acquaintances, mono-red aggro/burn is present now and should continue to be playable post-rotation. It has favorable matchups against control.

GW tokens could persist as a playable deck, especially with the Selesnyan support they're getting. I don't expect populate to be overwhelmingly strong in constructed formats, but it could be decent.

I'm currently thinking about the viability of Naya tempo.

Azorius is actually quite strong in limited, but cannot stand on its own. It is more effective as a secondary guild supporting something like Selesnya that provides more combat presence.

Naya might be huge when gatechash hits (gruul has a penchant for the stompy) That might be awesome.

I gave it a shot. I'm not great when it comes to Standard, but I'd like to see this be a viable approach. deck:the-city-zoo.

I've been testing a lot and I've been doing quite well with a simple Rakdos Unleash deck. The mechanic is MUCH better than it gets its credit for. I'm also considering Jund +1/+1 counters. Unleash with Corpsejack Menace is working quite nicely.

Blessings of Nature is in the sideboard. Games heat up quite a bit when I play Primordial Hydra
