boodflow conniosseur + skeletal grimace?

If you have a Bloodflow Connoisseur and a creature enchanted with Skeletal Grimace can you sacrifice the creature multiple times and tap all your swamps to pump Bloodflow Connoisseur ? Or is that not legal because the creature is already tapped when you sacrifice it the second time?

Regenerate doesn't work when a creature is sacrificed, unfortunately.

I'm not good at wording the fancy rules, but I believe you can't.

The sacrificing on Bloodflow Connoisseur is a cost of the ability that can't be responded to by activating Skeletal Grimace . In addition, regeneration as far as I know just prevents destruction effects, removes all damage, removes the target from combat, and taps it. This would not prevent the sacrifice in any way.

I'm just I worded that wrong at some point, but I hope the jist is there and your question is answered.

I assume you mean to ask "Can I sacrifice a creature, then regenerate it?"

Regeneration does not save a creature from being sacrificed, exiled, returned to another zone, or put into its owner's graveyard for having 0 or less toughness. Regeneration only prevents destruction.

Also, regeneration does not care whether the creature is already tapped or not.

@Myogenesis: You're almost completely correct, but Skeletal Grimace doesn't target except for when it is cast. The ability simply affects a given creature. You could activate the regeneration ability, then activate Bloodflow Connoisseur 's ability, but it would be a waste of mana for the reason you give.

As a more expensive method that does work, you can use "Tenacious Dead" (B - Creature - Skeleton - 1/1 - "When Tenacious Dead dies, you may pay 1B. If you do, return it to the battlefield tapped under its owner's control.")

When it goes to your graveyard, even if sacrificed, you can pay 1B to return it to the battlefield... then repeat.

Until rotation, this little guy can be an enabler for Blood Artist , many sacrifice abilities, and morbid effects.

It might be simpler to use Gravecrawler or that new card from M14 that is Reassembling Skeleton 's younger brother.
