Specifically, I want to know if it would affect continuous enchantments like alpha authority. Can someone further explain to me how target "triggered abilities" such as enchantments work too? Thank you all
Ok cool that's exactly what I was thinking, I just wanted a second opinion

No probs. Played a guy recently who tried to use it on Elixir of Immortality to gain 10 life.

"Triggered abilities" are designated by the words "when," "whenever," and "at." It's an action that is taken as a direct result of another action.

This part is a little basic so I hope it doesn't sound patronizing, but there are three different types of abilities in Magic: activated, triggered, and continuous. Activated abilities have the form [COST]: [EFFECT] in the rules text and require a payment to make something happen. Triggered abilities are characterized by "when", "whenever", or "as" in the rules text and trigger when a specific thing happens in the game. Continuous abilities are simply always on.
Strionic Resonator only affects triggered abilities. Alpha Authority grants only continuous abilities. Despite the fact that one of the abilities is only relevant at a particular time (when blocks are being declared), it's still in effect all the time and is therefore continuous.
If it was a triggered ability, it would say something like "when blocks are declared, defender cannot choose more than one creature to block enchanted creature" or something verbose like that. Then declaring blocks would trigger the ability and Strionic Resonator could copy it. The actual text doesn't say "when", so that's not how it actually works.
@SharuumNyan's reference was to an activated ability, which doesn't work with Strionic Resonator either despite his opponent's belief that it did.
TL;DR: Strionic Resonator does not affect Alpha Authority . Strionic Resonator is also very confusing to many people.

Thank you for the barney style version of the different abilities. I'm still fairly new to MTG so I'm just trying to suck up as much info as possible.

Examples of good uses for Strionic Resonator - Thragtusk , Centaur Healer , Oblivion Ring , Detention Sphere .

I'm not totally sure what you're asking, but I'll take a guess. Triggered abilities are things that happen when some kind of action triggers them and then there is an effect of the trigger. For example "When a card is put into a graveyard, everyone get up and dance" is a triggered ability because putting that card in the graveyard is a trigger, and getting up and dancing is the effect. Putting an enchantment on something is not a triggered ability, but some enchantments have triggered abilities.
If I had a dollar for every judge call since M14 introduced Strionic Resonator ...
