Help me choose an infinite combo for my EDH deck.

I have to pick an instant speed infinite mana combo for my grixis deck. I have the option to run Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake OR Freed from the Real + Grand Architect + Pili-Pala . The pili-pala combo has a distinct advantage in that both pieces can be on the field by turn 3, but in order for it to be instant speed I need Freed from the Real , otherwise I can only use the combo after I attack and before my untap step. The additional card being required is what I would think is a huge drawback. The deadeye combo can be used immidiately and it only takes 2 combo pieces, but they have a much higher cmc. So I'm torn between the 2.

Always opt for two cards over three. I would swap the drake for palinchron. Palinchron is actually a good, useful card on its own. The drake isn't so much.

Why would you need Freed from the Real to start the combo? You can tap the Pili-Pala from the Grand Architect 's ability at any time.

Grand Architect and Pili-Pala would definitely be the best combo - in my opinion. It's two cards, and you can set the combo in place on turn three.

Yeh given that that combo is just two cards it's very good.
