It finally time to upload my custom MH set whoo!!!!! This was a long tiime in the making and coming. Over 400 cards (not including tokens). I hope both those that know this game series and those that don't, can both enjoy this set, and feel free to print these off if you wish for a custom draft or something. Now I will say this now, This is not a color balanced set some color combos only 1 or 2 cards, while others have over 50. There are also affects that break the color pie but there are affects that the monsters have in game and I'm not going to add a color that doesn't fit the creature to have adhear to the color pie sorry if that turns you off.
Let me know what you all think I worked really hard on this. And did my best to meld this game series into MTG
For anyone who knows the series if you feel i missed something let me know. Pls note I didn't include things from Monster Hunter Frontier or Online (except one location out of necessity) since there was never a North American release for these games and never will be be. There is also nothing from from Monster Hunter Stories for the sake of my sanity and that the fact that this set is already huge, though if enough people ask for it I maybe willing to do so. Also I didn't add every arena map in the games as cards as that would add an additional like 12 cards and the effects would all be similar. The same with the Hub Leaders I feel like there weren't needed.

-I couldn't decide if it should be a fish or shark in game it's called a piscine wyvern and piscine means fish but in game it acts more like a shark let me know your thoughts.

- same problem as the Plesioths but this is a sperate species and is less powerful and aggresive than the plesi family so made it fish instead of shark but again your thoughts?

On the fifth row of icons at the top of the comment panel, there's a symbol that's five lines stacked on top of each other. You can use that to sort your cards and make it easier for our computers to render them since there are so many :)
I'll have to take a look at this once I have a chance to actually sit down, I'm excited!

TappedOut is not designed to host this many images on a single page - I cannot speak for desktop users, but the loading issues on mobile for your thread are horrendous. I am only able to post because I figured out a way to stop the images from loading, so it was not constantly trying to generate new pictures and prevent me from ever reaching the message section of the site.
I get that TappedOut has a very active custom card community - that community is probably the most active on the site - but you have to think about the limitations of the page you are using. This is clearly something where you should have either broken up the images into accordions (though that might also have image loading problems given the volume of data) or where you host the images on another website then provide a link on TappedOut to the off-site repository.
Frankly, even ignoring the loading issues your thread is also extremely unhelpful to anyone trying to review your set. Take a look at MaRo’s articles describing new sets - he does not just dump the image gallery and say “let me know what you think” - he describes the set’s design goals, the mechanics, why they were chosen, how those mechanics were placed in each colour, the limited archetypes the set was designed around, some anecdotes about the design process, etc. A thread where you describe your design strategy and goals, providing useful information and a guide on how to view the set, along with a link to an external card database, would be much easier on your users and far and away more helpful in soliciting worthwhile feedback.

From a design perspective, common, uncommon and rare are easy to assess. The physical and inherent power of the card compared to it's mana value and colors.
A 4/4 flyer for 6 can be a common if that's all it is, especially 2 colors.
With flying and vigilance like many Angels? Uncommon. Maybe even a rare if the set is intended for draft.
But a 4/4 flyer for 4 that requires maybe to reveal cards or sacrifice creatures? Rare.
Mythic is supposed to be intended for cards that bend the rules of the colors they are in. Either bend them, or exemplify them

Also accordion blocks still doesn't make sense to me on how to use them do you have link to a video that shows how to do it im more of a visual learner not a "read this and do it" person as stated before the accordion set up is just a bunch of words and
First I'm far from a genius or expert in make cards or sets and this is my first time doing so particularly on this site, so other complaining about my first time attempting something like this, do have anything else to say about the cards themselves?
You want to know my goal? My goal was to bring the world of monster hunter to MTG I this made very clear in my intro if you read it.
The design goal of the to match the monsters abilities as close as possible to the format of MTG again I made that clear in the intro.
The mechanics weren't placed based on color (mostly) but based off the creature, again I made clear that this was an unbalanced set and had many color pie breaks again read the intro. T
The design process was me looking at a card remembering what it did in the game and reading about the lore and ecology (for monsters) and made a card based around that.
I don't think there are archetypes in this set but I maybe wrong on this one.
As for a guide how to view it, IDK it's up to people how to view this set not me to tell them how, I made this as a love letter mostly for myself but figured other MH lovers and those that don't know the games could enjoy it as well.

TypicalTimmy - as a player of both of MH and MTG, this would be a really cool crossover! Hopefully the right eyes see this work and are inspired!

Daveslab2022- First let me say sorry for not getting back to you right away been busy and not just on this set. Second yes was for fun, to challenge myself to see if I could, to kill time when board, and yes I am planning on printing these for custom drafts and games and with each new game this set will keep expanding
