Thoughts on Massacre Girl?

I've been a fan of Daredevil and Elektra since forever and now I see we're getting Massacre Girl as a Bill Sienkiewicz Elektra, in the upcoming Marvel Super Heroes set (source: WotC). So as you might expect, this is the most excited I've ever been for a Universes Beyond card ...

The mechanic is extremely fun to pilot… but… it is a repeated board wipe, which comes with (effectively) the same baggage as Child of Alara. It’s a lot of baggage. There may be some restlessness at your pod.

Good to hear; thanks much! I'm definitely going to go ahead and at least try to build her. Mostly just a bunch of X/1s to get the party started, and some BFSs for the aftermath (Votron package + a 4/4 with Menace + a nearly empty board = seems prettty decent, at least as a starting point).

That's a REALLY good point, thank you! I'll definitely watch out for that. I think it'll be fine ... Turn 5 board wipe is almost a tradition in my usual pod anyways, so telegraphing it louder will probably be just fine. But with that baggage in mind (plus to keep it from getting too same-y with my friend's Zurgo deck), I think I'll probably forgo any Blood Artist effects.

She is a tonne of fun to pilot! I went with an "exit the battlefield" approach with my creatures. She's really a boardwipe on a stick but you're most likely going to have her come out once in a game and go from there. The domino effect is great and really helps if you have some creatures of your own out to help push up her -1/-1 on enter.
Completely fine for Bracket 2 or Bracket 3.
If you get a build going happy to have a look. She's super fun to build around!
