Zuo Ci, The Mocking Sage: Any ideas?

On my quest to build a commander deck for every legend ever (starting with Z), I got stuck really quick. Zuo Ci, the Mocking Sage is pretty much an overcosted 1/2 with hexproof. Any ideas for a deck?

Did you know there isn't a single EDH deck with him in the lead on tapped out? He's oddly popular in tiny leaders though.
Perhaps mono green hexproof? Like instead of Voltron you play a bunch of hex-proofers like Conifer Strider and mass pump like Overwhelming Stampede and maybe stuff that makes it hard to block your stuff like Akroma's Memorial.
So bad tokens. But you blank all the removal!
If you wanna actually build something good, voltron is basically the best option. Don't forget the Loxodon Warhammer

ya i was thinking voltron, but if you look that would make the last 4 alphabetical legends (Zurgo, both versions, zuo, and zur) all voltronish generals, and i'm tired of making voltron or even voltronish decks.

You could go with a theme. The guy literally has "The Mocking Sage" in his name. Make the theme of the deck where you literally just mock your opponents the entire game. That, or you could just do stupid/silly/hilarious plays that nobody would ever expect and just be semi-chaotic with possibly an end goal.

Obviously Voltron. Just slap equipments and auras. Bear Umbra is not as well known as a lot of equipment.
