With the release of Commander Legends came a plethora of Uncommon Legendary creatures that actually do something! I plan on making lists for most of them. However, I'm curious if theres enough interest in the format yet to warrant an article series dedicated to each of these new uncommon commanders. I'm highly debating actually starting a YouTube channel and doing PEDH techs to start things off. I just think it's really cool that we have more options beyond vanilla do nothings - I know Dominaria gave us some bangers too but this set is a massive push for Pedh deck building.

Were you aware that any uncommon creature could be your commander, not just legendary uncommons? :P

Flooremoji - I'm well aware. I even have a few decks on the compendium built around uncommons:) I just think there has been a power creep and you won't have to have that rule 0 discussion as much. You can just sit down and play and not have to give the spiel about it being a pedh deck.

I've been throwing around the idea of of building a (regular) EDH and/or PauperEDH deck(s) around Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh & Falthis, Shadowcat Familiar. Rograkh has comes with most of the relevant keywords a Voltron commander could want to begin with, while Falthis grants Deathtouch out of the command zone AND access to / draw & pump spells..

Metroid_Hybrid I've been trying to figure out the thematic/ideal partners for each of the uncommon commanders. That tiny kobald is definitely a fun build around. Though I cannot really reccomend voltron in rakdos at least for pedh. On paper it just does not look as resilient as some of the mono white/selesnya commanders. Though it would be super cool if you proved me wrong
