Do You Prefer Larger Superhero Logos or Smaller Superhero Logos?

Nearly every superhero has their logo on their chests, to the point that it would be easier to list the superheroes who do not wear their logos on their chests. However, some superheroes have massive logos, whereas others have smaller logos, and I frankly prefer smaller logos, since I think that large logos are obnoxious and intrusive.

For example the Punisher normally has a massive skull that covers his entire front torso, but, in the 2004 film, his logo was not as large, instead being in the center of his chest, which I feel made it appear to be more subtle and sinister. Similarly, in the four Superman films from the 1970’s and 1980’s, starring Christopher Reeve, Superman’s logo was very large and garish in color, but both Superman Returns and Man of Steel made the logo smaller and with colors that were more subdued. Finally, the black symbiote that Peter Parker wore had a massive white spider across his chest in the comics, but, in Spiderman 3, the spider was the same size as was his normal logo.

What does everyone else say about this? Do you prefer larger or smaller superhero logos?

I'm kinda old fashioned I guess because I think they are best when they are big and gaudy. The small ones always look like they are trying to be cool, and there's nothing that makes me nose scrunch faster than trying to be cool : )

My favorite superheroes pretty much get rid of the logo altogether. Gambit and Nightcrawler of the X-Men, Martian Manhunter on the DC side, and a few others don't really have logos. So I guess I prefer logo-less.

Perhaps it's me being blind to my own bias, but it appears to me that prominent logos on heroes is really more of a DC thing? Sure we can cite Punisher, Fantastic 4 and Spiderman - Captain America if you include the A and the star, but who else sports their own logos in Marvel?

And I'm pretty sure the star isn't Caps logo, but instead I'd a reference to how the Army and Airforce used a star as their symbol in American forces back during WWII. The Army has retained that to this day, while the Airforce has adopted a new symbol - to the best of my knowledge
