I went Selesnya at my prerelease, and was very impressed with Dawn of Hope. It was a great way to generate value in the late game and grind out opponents. I had already been planning on jamming the new Sumala Woodshaper in here, and happened to open a couple in my pool. I took out what I feel are some of the weaker and/or less synergistic cards in the deck for them.
+Dawn of Hope: I love everything this card brings to the deck. I wanted to add in a little more card draw, but couldn't really find a card that fit well with the rest of the deck. This card definitely feels like the solution: it is a great t2 play, can make us tokens with our spare mana, and draws us cards off of our incidental lifegain from Trostani.
+Sumala Woodshaper: It takes a lot to justify a 4-cmc cycling creature to me, but I think that adding the ability to find enchantments definitely makes this worth it. A lot of our powerful value generators are enchantments, and the deck can stall out if you are unable to find a good engine. In addition, as a 4-cmc cycling creature, it makes your Uncage the Menagerie much better.
-Blade of Selves: Honestly, I'm not sure about this cut. This card is ridiculously powerful and synergizes well with the deck. However, I've been playing a bunch of 1v1 games recently, and even in multiplayer games I've found it to be a little expensive for what it does. You really want to be able to proliferate in addition to equipping it to a creature in the same turn, which in the late game isn't a problem, but early on can just be way too much mana.
-Crested Sunmare: This card was kind of just filler that I threw in because I couldn't find another option that I really liked. It's great with lifegain, but doesn't actually progress your game-plan all that well. If I were to be more aggressive with the deck, this would definitely find a slot, but I prefer to just sit back and durdle around playing value creatures.
