Why not use Sarkhan Vol instead of Sarkhan the Mad?
Madman's ultimate does look pretty good, but I feel that unless you have a good board presence, he's just dead weight. Plus it's a "one and done" deal, because outside of proliferate effects, there's no way to keep up the 4 loyalty.
With Vol it's another way to swing in with the team straight away and the anthem effect is a bonus.

Stylez121, interesting thought. Like you said i've always looked at Sarkhan the Mad as a 5 mana remove target player kind of spell (assuming decent board state, which is usually the case minus a board wipe). I'll pick up a Sarkhan Vol and try him in Sarkhan the Mad's spot. Thanks for the suggestion!
