So I got rid of the Psychogenic Probe, which was causing me as much trouble as my opponents. Instead, I switched in more thievery cards, including Bruna, Light of Alabaster to steal auras and Stolen Identity and Clone to copy other people's things. Added more mana-fixing, too.
