Game 1: Junk Pod 2-1
First match I got destroyed. Sideboarded, destroyed him the second match even after he played Kataki, War's Wage and Birthing Pod. Third match was grueling but I came out on top. All around a good match, and good to know I can hold my own with this deck against pod.
Game 2: Fish 0-2 (Mono Blue Merfolk)
Bad luck here, drought first hand, flood second hand mulliganed both times.
Game 3: Fish 2-0 (Mono Blue Merfolk)
Better draws matches were close. Sword of Fire and Ice pulls heavy damage.
Game 4: U/B Faeries
Probably the most expensive deck I have ever played against. The deck was easily in the 2-3k range and I have no idea how a kid can afford it. Nonetheless, I was basically just counter spelled every turn. Not really sure what to do against straight counter magic decks.
Notes:
1x Swiftfoot Boots in the mainboard is awesome.
