IN: Nyx Lotus, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
OUT: Ring of Three Wishes, Flamekin Village
I'm really doubtful that Nyx Lotus will be good in this deck, but I needed to fix my curve a bit, and I've been trying to include as much ramp as possible. The reason I don't think Nyx Lotus will be good is that it doesn't really help to ramp towards Kiki-Jiki because most of the early game cards are artifacts, and it is really bad after my board has been wiped. However, since Kiki-Jiki himself has three devotion, which is pretty great with Lotus, especially after copying something that will give me even more devotion. While I have my doubts, I wanted to at least try it.
While Flamekin Village has been helpful in the past while things like Ulamog, it's kind of redundant with most of the creatures in the deck since it's not always very important they swing the turn they come in and the creatures Kiki creates already have haste. Plus, the deck has Lightning Greaves. I've tried Nykthos in the past and it never really did anything, but I wanted to try it again in the same vein as Nyx Lotus.
I don't think I'm going to miss Ring of Three Wishes much, to be honest. It costs so much mana to cast and use.
