Shortening the test cards and cuttin some more fat —June 22, 2021
Cuts:
Sakashima's Will- This card really never did anything, even when I did have Meloku out. At best, I would make all my creatures (including Meloku!) into a group of slightly stronger creatures, then I would swing in, and pass. It was never a good cast, either and would often be stranded in my hand
Vesuvan Shapeshifter- Was very slow, and didn't synergize well with the rest of my deck. Kinda sad to see this boy go, though
Additions:
War Room- Being able to interact and hold back and interact is a much-needed quality for any deck, and my deck has very few incentives to hold back, and I'm hoping that this'll be a good enough incentive to hold mana back
Sword of Hearth and Home- Just another ramp piece, but I may be running into some diminishing returns with the amount of basic land ramp, as I only have 15 basic lands, and already have a lot of ways of getting basics out of the deck
Edits:
Cosima, God of the Voyage Flip- Finally adding this gal into the card draw section, as she is a solid draw no matter what part of the game that you are in; she can draw you cards no matter how late you draw her, as Meloku is all about bouncing and dumping lands.
