I really liked your deck, so i came in time to time to watch if you changed something in it.

Funny thing is that i also were thinking that the messenger was too heavy for the deck and wasn't that helpful in the late game. When i playtested your deck a thing that i saw was that many times in the early game you want to play a shockland untapped, so you end losing life (of course, genius...), but this will happen the most when are are playing against an agro deck (where you will wanna keep your life, to the max).So for these conditions, and seeing that you don't have any in your side, my suggestion is: why don't change it for Vampire Nighthawk ,others cards that could fit well there are Essence Harvest (for some tasty and evil plays) and Corpsejack Menace for more counter power :)

ps: take Rakdos, Lord of Riots and Blood Scrivener out for Farseek These cards won't be really that helpful in the lategame, especially the Blood Scrivener , if you don't have the mana to empty your hand, best is to put it in the side (vs control) i think.

Thanks for the suggestion i really appreciate that you liked it. After looking through your suggestions, I went ahead and removed the 3x Geralf's messengers and the 1x Rakdos, Lord of Riots. And replaced them with 2x Vampire nighthawk which is a solid card and can do great in my deck especially as flyers and i put in 2x Farseek as well to bring a better mana fix. As for the blood scriveners, i'm not so sure about those. I will have to test them out. They work as zombies with gravecrawler and with Lotleth troll in the late game as an option. I will have to test those out more before making any changes to that.

What are your views on the mana situation? Do you think i should bring up the land count to 23 from 22?

Perhaps i dont need to run 23 lands as i've got Farseek in the main board now
