Overhaul —July 26, 2022
Let's completely change this deck! It kind of worked before and it seemed what it wanted to do was crap out creatures that impacted to board or game-state in any way they could. If I didn't know better this sounds a LOT like a strategy that's been floating around for several years... HUMANS! Though, there is one problem with humans, there aren't enough creatures to justify a card like Eldritch Evolution or Collected Company as the engine for those decks tend to be Aether Vial so we need a new engine... how about Augur of Autumn! She does what we need her to, gains us advantage and keeps us playing creatures, playing magic the way God intended. She doesn't get us creatures for free like Aether Vial would but with cheap ramp creatures like Ignoble Hierarch we can hit the ground running a turn or two earlier as well as providing decent fuel for coven! Lets see how this quick variation of the deck does against the modern meta at my LGS!!
