Chained to the Rocks —Aug. 30, 2015
Tests: Searing Blood removed for Chained to the Rocks. Chained to the Rocks is an obvious choice for this type of deck. The only problem is enchantment removal is rather prevalent right now. But I think that even if they remove it later in the game, it will have stalled the game enough to give me an edge.
It's strong against U/R Scissor decks which was a disastrous match-up for the deck previously.
It's strong against Hangarback Walker. And in Abzan Aggro you can sacrifice the Chained to the Rocks that has targeted the Hangarback Walker when they play Dromoka's Command to save your other enchantments. The Hangarback Walker come back as a 0/0 and dies immediately.
