A Commander of Every Color

I set a project for myself to brew an EDH list for (almost) all the color identity options. I did this as a way to expand my deckbuilding experience, hopefully growing along the way.

I left out some of the 4-color identities. These identities don't have many options for commanders and I find them a bit boring. You either build the ones already provided (ex. Yidris or Atraxa), or you build partner commanders (which I find to often be underwhelming and/or boring). In addition, I left out the colorless identity. Again, the viable options for these commanders are very limited and having to play solely colorless cards tends to force your deck very heavily towards artifact strategies that often play very similarly.

I made most of these lists with my typical budget in mind. They aren't going to be "budget" builds, as they will include some expensive cards, but they are also not going to be CEDH-level builds with all the fastest mana and the best tutors.

With that said, please feel free to peruse these lists. You can use them as starting points for your own builds, or even take the whole list!

As of May 13, 2020 I have completed the deckbuilding for this series. I have added in my personal decklists for the commanders I play to round out the rest of the non-excluded colors. (Elsha of the Infinite, Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Breya, Etherium Shaper, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, and Yarok, the Desecrated).
