Aberrant Mind Sorcerer
Creature — Human Elf Shaman
Psionic Spells — When this enters the battlefield, choose target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard, then roll a twenty sided die. (Remember that MTG spindowns are not well weight balanced, so please roll a die that isn't an MTG spindown.)
If you roll a 1-9 | You may put that card on to of your library,
If you roll 10-20 | Return that card to your hand.

Thanks Niko9! With Aberrant Soul Sorcerer, I was not only thinking about counterspells, but also True Polymorph. That card is just begging to be used for shenanigans!
But yeah, I think any deck that relies heavily on powerful sorceries and instants to function could benefit from Aberrant Mind Sorcerer. Not bad for an uncommon.

Nice one! I know we chatted about it before, but the ventures mechanic is the gift that keeps on giving : ) In game and in brewing.
I like the new list and I really liked the addition of old school DnD creatures like Displacer Beast Displacer beasts have popped in and out of adventures for years, and they are always fun.
Also, I really like how you are using Aberrant Mind Sorcerer with counterspells. I was trying hard to figure out how to use that awesome creature and never thought about that. It seems strong.

Coward_Token The first ability is kind of the advantage mechanic, probably pulling the D&D barbarian's Reckless Attack. The second ability is completely shoehorned in.
You're right, Sorcerer Class could (and probably should, the more I look at it) have been the dice card. Aberrant Mind Sorcerer , Chaos Channeler , Delina, Wild Mage , these are all sorcerer references, and they all are happy to roll. But we can't leave out Spells Matter, now, can we?
