Fissure Wizard

Creature — Goblin Wizard

When Fissure Wizard enters the battlefield, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card.

What about instead of the Drannith Bros. you used something like Cunning Survivor and a " rummage " effect?

  1. something like Faithless Salvaging , Epiphany Storm
  2. or make use of creatures that rummage on ETB like Fissure Wizard (fun card name to say lol)
  3. or Flux
  4. Krovikan Sorcerer 's second ability looks kinda promising
  5. Mental Discipline is not a creature, but would need lots of mana. Oona's Grace would also be repeatable once it hits your graveyard, but it's still mana-hungry.
  6. Also note that if your use Brainstorm you could set up your draw, allowing you to use all the blue spells that draw THEN discard like Zephyr Scribe

That's all I could think of so far. Does that help inspire anybody, or am I reaching like usual? Maybe cram it all together and with all that draw you're bound to get Cunning Survivor in a reasonable amount of time?

Made a few more tweaks to the shell. Added Rankle, Master of Pranks and Fissure Wizard , and swapped Bloodchief's Thirst over to Soul Shatter since it plays better with Thrill of Possibility .

I have an offspring's revenge deck on my own in Arena but I am glad to help you out since I love brewing this card.

You can go in two ways - Go Odds or Evens. Why did I say that? because you can abuse these companions to build around offspring's revenge - Obosh, the Preypiercer or Gyruda, Doom of Depths without them being your companion.

Also, you will need to have enablers in this deck. while we agree self mill is good in this deck, I like to control which cards do I actually dump early game for my payoffs from offspring's revenge later on. So I recommend cards like Cathartic Reunion , Thrill of Possibility and Fissure Wizard .

For payoffs if I go odds - you can go for Oathsworn Knight , Skyclave Apparition , obosh, Ox of Agonas (very good card draw and cheap escape cost), Drana, the Last Bloodchief and Terror of Mount Velus

If I go evens (and i recommend this due to more options, combos and your 1/1 tokens become bigger) - Immersturm Predator , Rankle, Master of Pranks (very very good in this deck), Harmonious Archon , gyruda (sell mill but it picks up more payoffs), Moraug, Fury of Akoum (if you combine it with drana, you can have multiple chain combat triggers with offspring's revenges)

...or if you can combine both. Its up to you how you can improve this deck. Hope it helps.

Before worrying about sideboarding, I'd focus on getting the main down to 60 cards. The closer you are to the minimum deck size, the more likely it is you'll draw the best cards in your deck. In this case, it looks like you want to build a party deck with Haktos the Unscarred as one of the bombs. The first thing I'd do is identify which cards are actively working towards that end or are particularly efficient. If something doesn't fit those descriptions, cut it. If it does, try to acquire multiple copies of it. For example, Gore Swine isn't doing anything here that a party member couldn't do better, so I'd remove it. Compare that to Expedition Champion who has more stats for the same cost and actively synergizes with the warrior theme, so having 4 of him wouldn't be bad. You can apply that logic to the entire deck. Practiced Tacticsis better than Sandblast. Suspension Field is more cost effective than Skybind. And so on.

After thinning the deck to its strongest options, then I'd focus on upgrades. Seek out other decks with similar goals and see what they're running. You can then endeavor to purchase the best cards you see in such examples, budget permitting. I don't know much about Boros party, but a quick search revealed Archpriest of Iona, Grotag Bug-Catcher, Stonework Packbeast, Squad Commander, Journey to Oblivion, Kargan Intimidator, Luminarch Aspirant, Relic Axe, Goma Fada Vanguard, Robber of the Rich, Tazri, Beacon of Unity, Fissure Wizard, and Seasoned Hallowblade, and that's only looking at standard. Modern brings even more options, particularly for Boros warriors. Arashin Foremost, Boros Reckoner, Mardu Woe-Reaper, Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, Obsidian Battle-Axe, Grim Lavamancer, Jeering Instigator, Fire-Belly Changeling, Grand Abolisher, Mirror Entity, Bygone Bishop, and Selfless Spirit all come to mind.
