Mathas, Bargain Seeker

Hi there! Welcome to my Hyper-Budget, Mathas, Fiend Seeker deck

This deck was designed to be an incredibly budget conscious EDH deck along with other cheap generals with the end goal of giving them to new players at the table.

Design Goals/Philosophy- Every card in the deck should be close to or be less than 30 cents. (.30$) The only exception is the general, who should be roughly <1$(though cheaper is better). I use TCGplayer prices for this(NM/LP, whatever edition is cheapest). The goal is to be in a sub 15$ range for the entire deck, not counting any lands.

The cards should be relatively easy to understand and play. I find that the Commander decks are too complicated for players new to the game, but EDH is a format that is great for new players since it has a longer, casual shelf-life. These decks are meant to rectify that.

The decks should be somewhat competitive. Each should be strong enough to sit at a multiplayer table and have a chance to win.

NOTE: Some of the cards in this deck are still pegged by TappedOut as far higher than their actual cost as of this deck being posted-if anything changes I'll try and keep prices up to date for NM/LP quality cards. This has bumped the deck's price up on TappedOut, but it is still <15$ as of last check via TCGplayer.
