I see this is supposed to be budget but Eidolon of the Great Revel is great, at least in the sideboard against other fast decks. I'd recommend running playsets of Ramunap Ruins and Sunscorched Desert as great sources of extra damage and they're budget friendly!

I just realized you don't have Liliana's Mastery which you totally should. Cheaper (money not cmc) than the banner, harder to get rid of (artifact hate is popular) and it creates two zombies.

As far as the double strike creatures goes, I like that idea a lot since they have potential to hit so hard so I may add them if I ever get away from the energy theme.

@Rex_JB24 I love being able to stop spot removal so those are also good. Spells to protect (Heroic Intervention is perfect against board wipes) plus Bristling Hydra with his own hexproof makes the hydra nearly unstoppable, but that's why I have to be careful to watch out for Settle the Wreckage. Thanks!

@quarteroy That does help. I tend to go a little high on lands because I hate getting mana screwed, but being flooded isn't much better. Great points, I'm going to test Ixalan's Binding over Cast Out and see how it goes. I'll check out your deck. Thanks!
