Zada, Hedron Grinder and Epic Confrontation

Asked by Argy 8 years ago

Does Epic Confrontation trigger Zada's ability?

It does need two targets.

No. If a spell requires two different targets, it can't target only Zada, Hedron Grinder.

How would Chandra's Ignition work. Would zada's trigger, then everyonw elses or would the trigger at the same time?

I'm not sure what you mean when you ask about triggers; the only thing that triggers in this scenario is Zada, Hedron Grinder's ability. Everything else is a spell.

If Chandra's Ignition targets only Zada, Hedron Grinder (Chandra's Ignition has only one target, so this is a possible play), Zada, Hedron Grinder's ability will trigger and you'll copy it for each other creature you control that Chandra's Ignition could target. Each of those copies is put onto the stack above the original spell, and you choose the order in which they're stacked. Each resolves separately; nothing ever resolves simultaneously in Magic.

Note also that if your creatures start to die, the spells that target them will fizzle because they have no legal target anymore.
