Would I take damage?

If I had a Spirit of Resistance on the battlefield and a Child of Alara would that count as a permanent of each colour or do I need 5 permanents to activate the enchantment?
The way positive comparisons work is that they ask a question in the form "Is there an X of quality Y?" and if there is, it gets a Yes.
So Spirit of Resistance is asking "Do you have a white permanent?" and Child of Alara says "Yes, I'm white" and then it says "Do you have a blue permanent?" and Child of Alara says "Yes I'm blue" and so on.
This is the same process which makes a green/white creature get +2/+2 from Wilt-Leaf Liege because it is capable of answering the positive check for "being green" -and- "being white" with a "yes"

10/4/2004: A permanent which is of multiple colors counts as each of its colors.

Child of Alara would count as a permanent of each colour, so you would not take damage while Spirit of Resistance is on the field.
