Morbid Mechanic.

Asked by Pheardemons 8 years ago

If I have 6 Shadowborn Apostles on the field and I sacrifice them to play Reaper from the Abyss from my deck. Does the morbid mechanic still apply at the end of the turn? Or if it is on a creature does the creature need to be on the field when something dies for morbid to trigger on Reaper from the Abyss?

Morbid by itself doesn't mean anything. It's just an ability word used to identify a group of abilities with similar functions.

Reaper from the Abyss's ability triggers at the beginning of the end step only if a creature died at any point during the current turn. The game looks at the full turn, not just the portion of the turn for which Shadowborn Apostle was under your control.
