Is this Combo Legal?

You have a Purphoros, God of the Forge Down as well as a Midnight Guard . Then you play Retraction Helix On the midnight gaurd and play an Ornithopter and then tap the midnight gaurd to return the Ornithopter then place it down again and untap Midnight Guard . This causes 2 damage every time Ornothopter comes into play because of Purphoros, God of the Forge . Is this an unlimited damage combo that is legal?

Yep, totally works. Nothing illegal about it.

it is definitely infinite damage, and it is definitely legal...4 card combo that can be stopped by a multitude of spells...not ban / illegal slammer worthy, but effective yes
