Inkmoth and Blinkmoth

When turning Inkmoth Nexus or Blinkmoth Nexus into creatures on your turn, can they be removed by something like Path to Exile or other removal spells? What about combat damage?

They're not separate things. If you animate Blinkmoth Nexus or any other manland, then the permanent is both a land and a creature. If someone Path to Exiles it, the permanent is exiled.

An object with multiple types follows the rules for all of its types. If a creature is dealt lethal damage, it is destroyed as a state-based action. Creatures are legal targets for Path to Exile. Therefore, both of those things can affect "animated" permanents.
