Golos ability with Aetherflux Reservoir

Do I gain life when crack Golos ability? It is a heated argument in my play group. Most, including a tournament judge says yes, while a few others, including a tournament judge say no. If yes, three of my wins with that deck are good. If not, then those should have been losses.

Golos, Tireless Pilgrim , Aetherflux Reservoir
While the clarity of the question could be better, I believe you are asking if Golos, Tireless Pilgrim 's activated ability and subsequently cast cards trigger the ability of Aetherflux Reservoir .
If so, then the answer is yes.
Play and cast are the exact same thing regarding spells, the only difference between the two is that if a card lets you "play" cards, you can also play lands as well as spells, while "cast" allows you to only play non-land cards.
Any non-land card exiled with Golos' ability that you cast will trigger Aetherflux Reservoir .
