Draw my deck with Sensei divining top and Mind over matter

Asked by Os7213 4 years ago

I have sensei diving top + mind over matter and omniscience.

Can I activate sensei diving top second ability, put it on the stack, use Mind over matter , discard a card and untap SDT to put a second trigger on the stack. Let everything resolve draw a card, put SDT on top of my library and draw it and cast for free using Omniscience and do it over again to basicly "draw" my entire library?

I guess I cannot just draw my entire library at once. I really have to activate sensei diving top twice and have to discard a card with mind over matter to do so right?

Could you explain me the combo using sensei diving top + Mind over matter + Omniscience? I had everything on the table and didnt see I could do that.

Thanks

Please link all cards in your question using double brackets.

Sensei's Divining Top

Mind Over Matter

Omniscience

Yes, you can go through your entire library this way. You will not be netting any cards, but you will be able to filter through your library this way.

It works pretty much as you said.

Tap Top to draw

Untap Top by discarding a card

Tap Top to draw again

Draw a card and put Top on top of the library

Draw a card (we know it is top).

Replay Top.

At this point the only thing that has changed from the previous game state is that you have discarded a card and drawn a card. You can loop the same series of actions to draw through your library.

The shortest shortcut you can take with this loop is "discard a card and draw a card". You can not say that you are simply drawing your library. You can however be prepared and know how you would like to sculpt your hand so that you can just discard any card that you draw that isn't in the "ideal hand" in order to draw the next card. This way you are limited by the speed at which you can move the cards. Do realize that your opponents can respond at any time, so be prepared to stop if anyone says anything.
