Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Firest Strike and +1/+1 counters

If Drana, Liberator of Malakir and Bane of Bala Ged both manage to do combat damage to a player, does Bane of Bala Ged get a +1/+1 counter before it deals damage, due to Drana's First Strike ability?

Yes. Creatures with first strike and/or double strike always deal combat damage before creatures without first strike or double strike. Any effects that trigger from combat damage will resolve before the regular damage step happens.
