Does Kira prevent the "exile" part of Goryo's vengeance
Asked by Draw_Wurm 7 years ago
If I have a copy of Kira, Great Glass-Spinner in play and I target Nicol Bolas in my graveyard with Goryo's Vengeance, when Nicol Bolas enters play and becomes a creature (not a creature card) and becomes a target for "Exile it a the beginning of next end step" is that the first time it has become the target of a spell or ability this turn? If so, is Nicol Bolas still exiled?
What if I play Goryo's Vengeance on Kira herself in the graveyard?

Goryo's Vengeance creates a delayed triggered ability that exiles the returned creature at the beginning of the next end step. This DTA does not target the creature, so the ability inherited from Kira, Great Glass-Spinner doesn't trigger. Nicol Bolas will still be exiled.
Same thing goes for Kira, Great Glass-Spinner herself.
