Does Cairn Wanderer retain its abilities in the graveyard?

If Cairn Wanderer is in the graveyard along with a Chromanticore and I exile it using Soulflayers delve ability, will Soulflayer have flying, first strike, lifelink, vigilance, and trample?

A "characteristic defining ability" (CDA) works in every zone, but Cairn Wanderer's ability doesn't meet the requirements to be considered a CDA. This means the ability only works while Cairn Wanderer is on the battlefield. You'll want to delve away Chromanticore in your example, because the Wanderer won't do anything for Soulflayer.
