Can Vorel double time counters?

Can Vorel of the Hull Clade double time counters? For example, Aeon Chronicler? Technically the suspended card is exiled, so Im not sure if this would work...
He can, however, absolutely double time counters. They are counters and can be doubled like anything else.
It's just that the only things which have time counters on them on the battlefield are things with Vanishing. Keldon Marauders

There's no technically. Suspended cards are in exile. Vorel of the Hull Clade's ability specifies that it can only target permanents, and permanents are objects on the battlefield. You won't even be able to activate the ability targeting an object in another zone.
