Can it be saved?

Asked by Djmikewhite 7 years ago

Last turn I attacked with my Scute Mob, next turn my opponent played Sunblast Angel and in response to destroying my Scute Mob I used Momentary Blink to remove Scute Mob from the game. Would the effect still destroy Scute Mob or would I be able to pull it out and avoid the effect of Sunblast Angel?

Note that you can't respond to your creature being destroyed - only to the ETB ability of the Angel.

When blinking a creature, it enters in it's default state (which is normally untapped, unless it has an ability saying it enters the battlefield tapped). It will not be destroyed by the Angel's effect as it's not tapped when the Angel's ability resolves (however it will lose all counters it might have had on it in the process).
