Can I search my library while its empty?

Scenario:
I have Archmage Ascension with 6+ counters. I have Grand Architect + Pili-Pala for Infinite Mana. I cast Fascination for lets say 5 billion. Can I draw the rest of my deck, ex. 63 more cards, then choose to search for the remaining 4 billion + change. To avoid decking out.

You can certainly search your library zone when no cards are in it, just nothing will happen because you have no cards in your library.
As Archmage Ascension's second ability is a May ability, you can choose not to tutor and just draw. So you just draw your deck then "search" the rest.
