Can Chulane Save a Creature with Evoke?

If a player controls Chulane, Teller of Tales and then casts a creature for its evoke cost, can that player use Chulane's ability to return that creature to their hand before it is sacrificed?

Yes. Sacrificing due to evoking is a triggered ability on goes on the stack and can be responded to.

Gidgetimer, thank you, very much. Also, I presume that the triggered ability of the other creature (such as, for example, a Mulldrifter) will still trigger?
