A Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind possible enter the infinite interaction?

If I equip Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind with Rogue’s Gloves then attack a player who cannot block Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, do I enter an infinite card draw loop? i.e., is the card draw damage considered combat damage at that point?

No. Rogue’s Gloves's ability triggers whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player. Combat damage is assigned and dealt in the combat damage step. Any other damage is just considered damage. Damage dealt by Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind due to its triggered ability is not considered combat damage.

Try Curiosity instead, as it does not require combat damage.
