Any reason why there are two shades of red in the color wheels?

Just wondering because I've noticed while skimming through the decks on the main page that some decks with red are a bright shade while others have a darker, almost burgundy shade of red. Not a bother or anything, just curious.

There's also a difference in shades of blue sometimes... does anybody know why this is?

Eviler cards. Cards that are more aligned with Rakdos or Dimir get a darker shade than regular red or blue cards.

The pie charts are images and different shades was used, by mistake, when creating the images.

If we're talking about the pie charts, they are generated images that go off of your color schemes. If you have Red/Blue on the side (above the CMC chart), then you get a pie chart of Red/Blue. However, after some testing of my own theory, I have found that having cards like Matter Reshaper, that are pure colorless and are added to the color wheel (whilst viewing the deck), is what transforms the normal red to a burgundy, or a blue to lighter shade.

I've similar effects with green. Colorless mana cards like the new Eldrazi seem to dilute the shade, making it slightly more gray.
