Mage-Ring Responder Deck help

I was hanging out at my LGS yesterday and the shop keeper mentioned he wanted to find a way to make the new origins artifact creature Mage-Ring Responder effective considering its a 7/7 that snipes creatures when it attacks. After mentioning that Kiora's Follower would enable it well, he issued a challenge to make a standard deck that utilizes our big friend who likes the number 7.

Well one thing to consider is Refocus. Maybe a Prophet of Kruphix. or you can always consider Ivorytusk Fortress. One of these could make it exceptionally useful. Blue-Green with 4 mage ring responders, 4 kioras followers, 4 prophet of kruphix, and 4 refocus could make a combo worth trying. Just a thought.
