He's too slow in an aggro deck, doesn't do enough in a midrange deck.

Xenagos, The Reveler is a staple of G/R Monsters,which is a teir 1 deck currently.

Overall he is good because he creates card advatage with his tokens, ramps, and his ult is an attainable game winner.

Matchups: He is good vs MBD because he can lock down a Desecration Demon . Good vs control because he helps re-establish board presence after a board wipe and draws removal away from your bombs. Good vs aggro because he defends himself.
