All aboard the Sorin + Sarkhan + Ugin vs. Bolas hype train!
That's not QUITE Bolas enough for me. It's missing the Gem of Becoming to be Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker

Ah you're right, I didn't notice the lack of the Gem of Becoming . As for the shape of the horns, I figured it may have just been a slight redesign by a different artist.

It almost looks like the dragon is radiating mana, perhaps a "colorless" mana?

So the sets should be Khans of Tarkir-Fate Reforged-and then Warlords of Khanar or Dragons of Tarkir?

Warlords of Khanar was the original name for KoT. They changed it. The third set is speculated to be Dragons of Tarkir, but it isn't official.

Having dragons outside of Ugin and Sarkhan don't make since with the lore though. the lore being that all the dragons on this plane are dead.

I'm wondering if that's Ugin reincarnated in the background. It looks like some sort of colorless aura around it, plus it's a dragon.

@ lastmoonflower They go back in time in Fate Reforged, and then Dragons of Tarkir is the third set: an alternate timeline where dragons rule the plane.

That's Ugin in the picture. The (very rough) premise of FRF is Sarkhan travels back in time into a war between the 5 Clans and the dragons, and he has to save Ugin.

I don't think that's a Bolas silhouette. Bolas's horns are round. I think that's Ugin's outline.
